Integrity Home Care + Hospice is seeking a motivated Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to serve patients in Joplin, MO and surrounding areas in a full-time role. You will travel to clients' homes to support recovery and independence.

The role involves developing personalized care plans, performing manual therapy, gait training, balance activities, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Formación

• Active and current Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Home health care experience welcomed but not required; we will train you.

Responsabilidades

• Visit clients in their homes to assist recovery from injury, illness, surgery or hospitalization.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans including exercises and gait training.
• Assess and coordinate with nursing in the multidisciplinary care plan.
• Progress clients from discharge to home goals and provide education to patient/family.

We are recruiting for a compassionate Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to reliably serve patients in the Joplin, MO and surrounding area. This is a Full Time position.

What you'll do:

Visit a variety of clients in their own home, helping them recover from an injury, illness, surgery, or hospitalization.

• Develop and implement appropriate individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions.
• Continually assess the care plan, and participate with nursing in the multidisciplinary care plan, as appropriate.
• Progress your clients from discharge to meeting their goals at home
• Provide education to the patient and/or their family

What you should have:

• Active and current Occupational Therapy Assistant license
• One year of clinical experience preferred
• Previous home health care experience welcomed, but not required. We will train you!
• Ability to travel locally to cases as assigned
