Job summary

Express Healthcare Staffing seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week contract in Butte, MT. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to assist patients in developing, recovering, and improving skills needed for daily living and working.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, guiding therapeutic exercises, monitoring progress, educating patients and caregivers, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current Montana COTA license.
• Graduation from an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to work 36 hours per week for 13 weeks.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and daily living skills.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient-centered care.

Express Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week contract assignment at a reputable Health & Rehabilitation Center in Butte, Montana. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to assist patients in developing, recovering, and improving skills needed for daily living and working.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans as established by the supervising Occupational Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and daily living skills
• Monitor patient progress and document treatment results accurately and timely
• Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques, equipment use, and home exercise programs
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic treatment environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient-centered care
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, documentation standards, and state regulations

Required Qualifications

• Current COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) license in the state of Montana

Preferred Qualifications
