Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for their Acute Care unit. The role involves assisting with therapy services under the supervision of Occupational Therapists, contributing to patient care through therapeutic techniques in alignment with hospital policies. Ideal candidates should be graduates of an accredited program and licensed or eligible for licensure in Florida.
Under general supervision of the Occupational Therapist and according to established policies and procedures, assists in providing Occupational Therapy services, including but not limited to the implementation of treatment based on the plans and goals established by the Therapists. Also responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Associate program for the Occupational Therapy Assistants. Licensure/Registration: Licensure or eligibility for licensure by the state of Florida.
