The Tremont Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Wareham, MA is hiring a part-time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our care team. This role offers 24 hours per week with compensation up to $35 per hour and weekly pay.

Job description

We are hiring a part-time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our dynamic care team at The Tremont Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Wareham - a 4-star nursing home!

24 hours a week. Up to $35 an hour with weekly pay.

Education & Experience

• As a minimum, an associate degree in occupational therapy assistant from an accredited program.
• CEU’s per state licensure requirements.
• Current licensure by the applicable state agency.
• Newly licensed COTAs welcome to apply!

Duties & Responsibilities

• May perform additional assigned administrative duties such as assigned by Rehab Program Manager.
• Under a physician’s order, provides direct resident treatments in accordance with an established plan of care. Treatment venue includes individual, supervised, and group.
• Contributes to the team meeting and decision making process as defined by the program.
• Consults with and trains patients, residents and caregivers.
• Monitors efficiencies on an ongoing basis in collaboration with supervisor.
• Documents activities according to the company’s clinical documentation system on a timely basis.
• Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations.
• Participates in clinical program development and implementation.
• May perform additional duties as requested by supervisor.
• Participates in quality improvement activities.
• Responsible for service and operational excellence of all assigned activities to ensure the delivery of quality services and/or outcomes required to meet or exceed the expectations of those utilizing or impacted by the department.
