Job summary

St. Francis Healthcare Center in St. Francis, SD is seeking a compassionate Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. You will provide OT treatments under supervision and help patients regain independence.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing.
• Current state licensure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and home exercise programs.
