Job summary

Aspire Senior Living New Florence is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in New Florence, MO. Qualifications

• Missouri COTA certification active.
• Previous experience as a COTA or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in evaluation, planning and delivery of therapy services.
• Support residents with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet resident goals.
• Participate in interprofessional team meetings to discuss progress and plan care.
• Maintain accurate records of resident progress and treatment plans.
• Educate families and caregivers on resident care and treatment plans.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in the delivery of occupational therapy services to residents, including evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation
• Conduct daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address resident needs and goals
• Participate in interprofessional team meetings to discuss resident progress and develop effective care plans
• Maintain accurate records of resident progress and treatment plans
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to educate them on resident care and treatment plans
