Job summary

Highland Oaks Health Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our newly opened therapy department. You will provide high-quality occupational therapy services within a multidisciplinary team, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to help patients regain independence.

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification is required.
• Experience collaborating with a multidisciplinary team is preferred.
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and modify therapy plans to meet patient goals.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, posture, and body mechanics.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans.
• Stay up-to-date with current physical therapy best practices.

About the Role

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Cota) at Highland Oaks Healthcare Center, you will be responsible for providing high-quality physical therapy services to our patients. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. Your expertise will help patients recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall health and well-being.

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify physical therapy needs and develop individualized treatment plans
