Job summary

Hopebridge is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support pediatric therapy services in a multidisciplinary autism care setting. The role focuses on individualized and group therapy under supervision, contributing to progress reviews and collaboration with families.

The position emphasizes a supportive team environment, flexible locations, and a Monday–Friday schedule, with strong emphasis on patient care and documentation, including IEP involvement and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain CPR certification.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
• Licensed and registered with AOTA in the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and/or group therapy sessions according to individual needs
• Participate in staff meetings and conferences indicated to review progress
• Provide assistance to staff regarding concerns pertaining to occupational therapy and assist staff in maintaining open communication with parents concerning occupational therapy problems
• Maintain accurate records of services provided for statistical and billing purposes
• Maintain current daily notes
• Assist with Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) development
• Assist in providing a safe environment for all patients and staff
• Assist with problem solving to improve efficiency within the center
• Perform duties at multiple locations, as needed (Phoenix West & Phoenix Central)

Required Skills & Qualifications

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current licensed certified occupational therapist assistant and registered with the American Occupational Therapy Association and licensed in applicable state
• Must possess or be capable of obtaining and maintaining a CPR certification
• Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral
