Job summary

Casey/ Greenup Rehab and Nursing in Illinois is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time position in our skilled nursing facility. Work closely with residents to improve independence and functional abilities in a supportive rehab setting.

You will carry out OT treatment plans under the OT, assist with daily living activities, lead targeted exercises, monitor progress, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• Active COTA license required.
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out occupational therapy treatment plans under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.
• Assist residents with daily living activities such as dressing, grooming, and self-care tasks.
• Lead exercises focused on coordination, strength, and fine motor skills.
• Monitor progress and communicate updates to the OT.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with care plans.
