Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and conducting rehabilitation programs as prescribed by the occupational therapist.
• Provide direct therapy services to patients with physical limitations or disabilities.
• Supervise and guide certified occupational therapist assistants and rehab technicians.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the therapy team and physicians.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a therapist capacity in a hospital, nursing care facility, or similar medical setting.
• Knowledge of rehabilitative and restorative therapy practices.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
