Job summary

Ardent Health Services seeks a day shift, full-time Occupational Therapy-B Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Albuquerque, NM. You will join Lovelace Medical Center, a facility within our network, to provide therapeutic care to patients under supervision and ensure safety and compliance.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant and NM licensure (or eligibility), plus BLS within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Licensed or licensure-eligible COTA in the State of New Mexico.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapy treatment to patients with developmental, physical, cognitive, and/or emotional impairments, disabilities and/or handicaps under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
