Northbrooke Post-Acute is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Jackson, Tennessee. This full-time position supports therapists, facilitates patient recovery, and contributes to excellent skilled-nursing care.

As a COTA you will evaluate needs, help implement treatment plans, document progress, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Requires an OTA credential, current TN state licensure, and strong communication. Skilled Nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or OTA certification required.
• Current state licensure as a COTA.
• Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care experience preferred.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and professional presentation.
• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in evaluating and assessing patients' needs and capabilities.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide hands-on therapy and interventions to patients as part of their treatment plan.
• Teach patients new skills to enhance their independence and daily functioning.
• Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and thoroughly.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.

Salary Range: $16.00 To $20.00 Hourly
