Position Details

Department: Quality Care Rehab
Location: Monument Health StoneCreek
Compensation: $28.00 - $33.00 / hour

Key Responsibilities

• Execute therapeutic plans under the supervision of an occupational therapist, including teaching patients how to use adaptive equipment, guiding exercises, and engaging in activities critical to recovery.
• Assist in planning and selecting therapeutic activities tailored to each patient’s needs and interests, applying creative and practical approaches to meet occupational therapy goals.
• Monitor and document patients’ progress, observe changes in performance, report observations to the occupational therapist, and adjust interventions to ensure continuous improvement.
• Educate patients and families about the therapy process, adaptive equipment use, and home modifications, providing clear instructions and support for long‑term recovery and independence.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Degree in an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license/certification in the state of practice.
