Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified occupational therapy assistant candidates to join our team. You will work under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist to support patient care and contribute to growing our OT services.

As part of the team, you will assist in treating patients by following individualized plans of care, documenting responses, and communicating with therapists and facility staff to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• OTA role requires following supervision by an Occupational Therapist and implementing care plans.
• Ability to document patient progress and communicate treatment responses to therapists and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with all phases of occupational therapy as directed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Develop and implement treatment programs based on each patient’s needs.
• Explain treatments to patients and document conditions and responses after each visit.
• Record and discuss patient progress with the Occupational Therapist and Rehab Director or facility staff.
• Operate standard OT equipment and maintain treatment areas.

In this role, you’ll assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists.

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
