Job summary

AvaMed Workforce is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant for a full-time assignment in Stockton, CA. The role runs Mon-Fri, 8:00am-4:30pm, at 40 hours per week, with a W2 compensation of $50/hr (travel rate available).

You will support development and execution of patient treatment plans, monitor progress, educate patients and families, and coordinate with the healthcare team to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Current licensure/certification as a COTA in California or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and implementation of patient treatment plans.
• Conduct therapeutic activities according to the occupational therapist's guidance.
• Monitor patient progress and report it to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Instruct patients and families in following treatment plans and using therapeutic equipment.
• Help patients improve their cognitive, physical, and emotional well-being.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatments.
• Modify treatment plans to address patient needs in consultation with an Occupational Therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on tasks and activities necessary for rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and outcomes.

Position Details:

40 Hours per week

Location: Stockton,CA

Schedule:Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Rate: $50/hr W2 (Travel Rate Available)
