Job summary

Jabbergym in San Andreas County seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support K–12 students under OT supervision. You will implement treatment plans, help develop functional and daily living skills, and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes.

The position offers mentorship for new grads, a sign-on bonus, a 10-month work year with paid 12 months, summers off, CEU reimbursements, full benefits, and flexible scheduling to balance

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited COTA program.
  • Active COTA license or eligibility to obtain.
  • Clearances: DOJ/FBI Livescan background check; eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Experience with pediatric and school-based therapy preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with students, families and teams.

Responsibilities

  • Treatment Implementation: Assist OT in implementing individualized treatment plans to support students’ functional, motor, and daily living skills.
  • Therapy Support: Conduct therapy sessions under OT supervision, guiding students through therapeutic activities to improve coordination, strength, and independence.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with OTs, teachers, families, and school staff to support student progress and carryover of skills.
  • Data Collection & Documentation: Track and document student progress, therapy sessions, and outcomes in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines.
  • Classroom Support: Assist with integrating therapy strategies into classroom routines to enhance student participation and success.
