Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join the Nevada Early Intervention Services (NEIS) program in Reno, NV.

Responsibilities:

Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients ages 0-3.
Monitor and document patient progress, reporting to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs.
Services are provided in the home setting.

Qualifications:

Licensure: Active and unrestricted Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license issued by the Nevada Board of Occupational Therapy.
Experience: Minimum of one year of experience as a COTA is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply. Pediatrics experience preferred but not required.
Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team, and proficiency in patient documentation.
