We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate COTA to join our breast cancer rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various settings, including outpatient clinics and acute care environments. This role involves implementing individualized care plans to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. The COTA will work closely with patients to enhance their physical, emotional, and social well-being through therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities

• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' daily living skills and overall quality of life.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including Occupational Therpist, physicians and nursing staff, to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and adaptive techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in occupational therapy practices and medical terminology.
• Provide support in various settings such as outpatient clinics, home health environments, and acute care facilities.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Experience in outpatient therapy, occupational health, or acute care preferred.
• Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and patient care practices.
• Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
