Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation in Palm Beach, FL, is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for PRN (as needed) shifts at Kindred Hospital The Palm Beaches. You will work under supervision to deliver patient‑centered care and support rehabilitation goals.

The ideal candidate has AOTA certification, an OTA associate degree, an active Florida license, CPR certification, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold AOTA certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program with an Associate's degree.
• Current and valid Florida OTA license.
• CPR certification current and up to date.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate patient progress or concerns to the supervising occupational therapist and interdisciplinary team.
• Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in follow-through programs and home exercises.
• Assist with patient scheduling and post treatment charges to patient records daily.
• Document patient care accurately and in accordance with all regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
• Maintain treatment equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Ensure compliance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, and applicable laws and professional standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

• Candidates must have certification from the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA)
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program culminating in an Associate's degree
• Current and valid state OTA license in the state of Florida
• Current CPR certification
• Strong organizational and communication skills
