Westminster Suncoast - On-Call Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

Westminster Suncoast, a beautiful active living retirement community located in St. Petersburg, is currently seeking an On-Call Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA). Westminster offers a generous compensation and benefits package, including company-paid Life insurance, LTD insurance, a Pension plan, Wellness Program, and Fitness Center.

Essential Job Functions:
  1. Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards, and guidelines related to employment with Westminster Services and its communities.
  2. Monitor residents' progress and communicate with the Occupational Therapist (OT).
  3. Responsible for carrying out established residents' Care Plans and goals as designated by the OT.
  4. Assist the OT during resident evaluations.
  5. Maintain documentation in the system of residents' activities, record progress, and document billing activities.
  6. Perform Resident’s Home Assessment as part of the discharge process, as directed by the OT.
  7. Perform Resident’s screening during the admission process and quarterly & annual screenings to determine the need for therapy, as directed by the OT.
