Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) - Full Time, School Based experience required

We’re seeking a talented, full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our school-based services team in San Francisco, CA.

Professional License Requirements:

Applicants must have the following, legally mandated certifications. Applicants without these requirements will not be considered.

  • Active state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Role responsibilities include:

  • Work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, providing sensory integration, motor patterns, and awareness of the external environment
  • Develop and improve individuals' ability to perform tasks independently
  • Participate as a member of the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) team for students with occupational therapy needs
  • Facilitate goals and objectives according to each child's educational plan
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with school personnel and parents to develop appropriate programs under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, administrators, and parents
  • Perform other duties as required within the scope of licensure and certification
  • Ensure all services comply with state laws and regulations
