Job summary

Delta View Post Acute in Antioch, CA is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. This role offers flexible scheduling with Full-Time, Part-Time or PRN options and pay starting at $48–$50 per hour.

You will provide OT treatments under supervision, help residents improve daily living activities and mobility, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a resident-centered environment that supports professional growth and continuing

Qualifications

• Current California COTA license/certification.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to helping residents achieve independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under supervision.
• Assist residents in improving activities of daily living, functional skills, mobility, and independence.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed to meet each resident's goals and needs.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding therapeutic techniques and strategies.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Provide compassionate, resident-centered care.

What You'll Do

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Assist residents in improving activities of daily living, functional skills, mobility, and independence.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed to meet each resident's goals and needs.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding therapeutic techniques and strategies.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate observations and concerns to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
• Provide compassionate, respectful, and resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current California Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license/certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
