Summary

We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).

Responsibilities
  1. Follow all state-specific laws governing occupational therapy in home care, under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
  2. Perform only procedures you are qualified and trained for, and recommend changes to the plan of care to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
  3. Instruct and assist patients in evidence-based treatment within the scope of practice and according to state laws.
  4. Observe, record, and report patient responses and changes in condition to the supervising OT, nurse, and/or physician. Coordinate care with the healthcare team as appropriate.
  5. Educate patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members in therapy areas within your scope.
Education and Experience

License Requirements

  • Current COTA licensure in Texas
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance

Schedule: PRN (as needed)
