Job summary

Regency Pacific is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to assume clinical responsibility in an assigned home care facility. This professional role focuses on direct patient care under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, with additional administrative duties as assigned.

You will work under the Occupational Therapist to follow state laws, implement treatment plans, and communicate recommendations for changes in the plan of care to the supervising OT.

Qualifications

• Possess a degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
• Possess, prior to onboarding, a current, unrestricted license to practice as a COTA in the assigned state.
• Adaptability, compassion, detail oriented, friendly & courteous.
• Moderate degree of physical strength is needed to assist patients.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, follow state laws governing the provision of occupational therapy in home care.
• Follow treatment set only as defined by the Occupational Therapist; perform only those procedures you are qualified and trained to perform.
• Make recommendations for changes in the plan of care to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant assumes clinical responsibility in an assigned facility. This is a professional position with the primary responsibility of direct patient care under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist. Additional duties of an administrative nature are to be performed as assigned.

You will:

• Under the supervision of a Occupational Therapist, is at all times responsible to follow all state specific laws governing the provision of occupational therapy in home care
• Follow the treatment set only as defined by the Occupational Therapist; to perform only those procedures that the COTA is qualified and trained to perform
• Make all recommendations for changes in the plan of care to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

You currently:

• Possess a degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
