Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

Join YAD Healthcare as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA).

Location: Windsor Rehabilitation And Healthcare Center, Windsor, NC

Pay Range: $22.00/hr - $35.00/hr (based on skills and experience)

Job Overview

We are currently hiring for a PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant to provide quality care to our residents in a long-term care facility. We offer a competitive wages and benefits package, flexible scheduling, paid time off, 401K, and other perks.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited university with a BA or Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy recognized by AOTA
  • Current license and/or registration in the state (as applicable)
  • SNF experience preferred
Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive treatment under supervision of an OTR, following state guidelines
  • Assist in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab
  • Document patient progress accurately and timely
  • Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, re-certifications, and discharges
  • Attend meetings, participate in scheduling, and complete billing logs
  • Supervise junior staff or students as needed
  • Maintain professional relationships and provide in-service education as required
  • Adhere to policies, confidentiality, and federal rights
  • Report on time, maintain professionalism, and meet productivity requirements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
