Job summary

Greenwood Village is seeking a FT COTA (Occupational Therapist Assistant) to join our rehab team. You will work under an OTR, provide treatment to patients, and help identify appropriate referrals.

This position requires an active COTA license and at least one year of related experience, with adherence to state guidelines. You will participate in meetings, document progress, and ensure orders and signatures are obtained as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have current COTA license.
• One-year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of an OTR and according to state guidelines.
• Assist OT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
• Document patient's progress on weekly progress note in an accurate and timely fashion, and obtain the co-signature of the OTR.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertification, and discharges.
• Assist with other documentation requirements as indicated and according to state guidelines.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings when indicated by the supervisor.
• Perform all other duties assigned by the department supervisor, lead therapist, or regional manager
