Job summary

The West Haven Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in West Haven, Connecticut seeks a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. You will work closely with licensed OTs to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities include assisting with treatment plans for ADLs, cognitive and sensory skills, using adaptive equipment, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient transfers and accurate progress notes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) program.
• Current certification as a COTA.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong observational and assessment skills.
