Responsibilities include treating patients under supervision, documenting per guidelines, and educating families and nursing staff while coordinating with the supervising therapist to ensure progress and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Successful completion of certificate/state licensure for Occupational Therapy Assistants.
• Current registration/licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant.

Responsabilidades

• Treat patients as directed by licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Record clinical documentation according to guidelines; record daily treatment charges.
• Instruct families and nursing staff on restorative/home programs.
• Communicate progress with supervisor and health team members.

Seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join the IN-HOUSE rehab team at Sandstone of Tucson, a beautiful SNF in Tucson, AZ! Flexible scheduling! Supportive team to work with!

Treat patients as directed by licensed Occupational therapist. Demonstrate a positive attitude and team building approach with all patients, clients and team members. Maintains productivity standard as determined by supervisor and clinical needs. Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and other reimbursement regulations. Treat patients according to treatment plan. Record clinical documentation according to accepted regulatory and professional guidelines. Record daily treatment charges per approved billing guidelines. Instruct families and nursing staff regarding restorative/home programs as directed by staff therapist. Communicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, problems and plans.

EDUCATION/LICENSURE

Graduate of an accredited Assistant Program Successful completion of certificate/state licensure process for Occupational Therapy Assistants
