Vineyard Post Acute in Petaluma, CA is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehab team on a part-time basis. You'll provide direct patient treatments under the supervision of an OT and support high-quality rehab services.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide treatments as directed by the OT.
• Document daily treatment notes and progress per state/board requirements.
• Follow physician treatment plan and facility protocols.
• Assist with training Restorative Aides as needed.
• Communicate patient progress to supervising OT and care team.
• Participate in in-service training and interdisciplinary meetings.
• Educate patients, families, and nursing staff on maintenance programs and caregiver strategies.
• Support discharge planning.
• Help maintain a clean and organized therapy space.
• Report equipment issues to ensure safe, proper functioning.
• Build positive, professional relationships with residents, families, and staff.

Role Summary

The COTA provides direct patient treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and supports the delivery of high-quality rehab services.

• Follow the physician treatment plan and facility protocols
