Job summary

Unalaska City School District seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support students aged 3–21 under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. You will implement therapy plans, provide consultative services to school personnel, collaborate with teachers and families, and function within the district's policies and applicable regulations.

Work hours are 7 per day, 9 months per year.

Job description

Job Summary: The certified occupational therapist assistant works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) and works with students from ages three (3) to 21 who experience physical, mental, developmental, emotional, social, learning, visual, hearing, and/or multiple disabilities. Implements therapy programs, provides consultative services to school personnel, and functions according to this profession's philosophy, laws, rules, and regulations.

New Hire Hourly Rate: Grade 11: $30.75-$34.50 DOE

Internal Hourly Rate: Determined by the ESSA Negotiated Agreement

Work hours: 7 hours per day

Work year: 9 months

Bargaining Unit: Education Support Staff Association (ESSA)
