Job summary

OhioHealth at Home in partnership with Compassus is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support OTs, focusing on therapy goals and patient progress while leveraging AI-supported tools to streamline documentation.

You will assist with therapy sessions, monitor patient progress, and help reduce administrative workloads to allow more hands-on care, with emphasis on compassionate, patient-centered outcomes and adherence to care standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy assistant with an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.
• Active and unencumbered Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with therapy sessions and monitor patient progress.
• Use AI technology to ensure clear and accurate documentation of sessions.
• Reduce administrative workloads and focus more on hands-on care.

Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations

• Active and unencumbered Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of employment required.
• Required within 30 days of hire - National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
