Medical City Dallas, part of the Medical City Healthcare system, is seeking a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist to join a collaborative obstetric and surgical team. You will prepare the surgical suite, support intraoperative procedures, maintain sterile technique, and contribute to a compassionate patient experience for newborns and families.

Responsibilities include assisting with patient positioning, draping, instrument handoffs, and ensuring safety throughout obstetric surgeries.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• CST certification or equivalent credential, or acceptable work-experience alternative.
• OB experience is highly preferred but not mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Prepare the surgical suite, organize instruments and supplies for obstetric procedures.
• Assist with patient positioning, prepping and draping while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Provide instruments and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field, perform counts, and ensure instrument functionality.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver patient-centered obstetric care.
