Position Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant plays an integral role in providing exceptional care and service to our residents. We encourage our associates to learn, develop, and succeed in a supportive environment. We are hiring full-time CNAs for shifts from 7am to 3pm at Maplewood at Orange.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assisting residents with care needs including bathing, dressing, continence care, dining, and mobility support
2. Engaging residents through interaction, conversation, and participation in programs and activities
3. Collaborating with the nursing team to meet resident care needs
4. Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy environment, including resident rooms

Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:

1. Current Connecticut Nurse’s Aide Registration
2. Passion and experience working with seniors
3. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
4. Ability to maintain positive relationships with residents, families, peers, and staff
5. Good physical and emotional health, free of communicable diseases
