Maplewood Senior Living in Southport, CT is hiring a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant to provide hands-on care for our residents with compassion and dedication.

You will work closely with the nursing team to assist with daily activities, monitor residents, and support programs and mobility through engaging interactions. The role requires a current CT CNA registration and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; flexible shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut Nurse’s Aide Registration.
• Experience and passion in working with seniors.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks up to 50 lbs.
• Strong teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with all care needs including bathing, dressing, continence care, dining and mobility support.
• Engaging residents through interaction and conversation, as well as programs and activities.
• Working hand in hand with the nursing team to ensure resident care needs are met.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe work environment and assisting residents by maintaining resident rooms.

• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with residents, their families, peers and other staff members
• In good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases
