Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to deliver in-home personal care in Maurice, Iowa. You will support daily activities, assist with grooming and meals, and follow nursing directions to maintain a safe, clean home environment.

Qualifications include completion of a basic aide training program, two professional references, and reliable transportation. Prior PCA/CNA experience preferred; state-specific certifications may apply.

• Completion of a basic aide training program and/or Direct Care Worker test per state/federal requirements.
• Minimum of two professional references meeting PSA Healthcare standards.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• One year of employment as a personal care aide, nurse’s aide, or related healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living as ordered by the nurse.
• Provide in-home care, prepare meals, assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and maintain a safe home environment.

PSA Healthcare Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) /Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) will plan, prepare and may feed the client nutritious meals, provides medication reminders and completes errands when instructed to do so by the nurse.

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of the 9th grade or its equivalent; prefer high school graduate
• Training: Completion of a basic aide training program and/or Direct Care Worker test consistent with state and federal requirements and for which a certificate was obtained
• Reference: Minimum of two professional references that meet the standards of PSA Healthcare.
• Skills: Completion of one year’s employment as a personal care aide, nurse’s aide or in another healthcare related field preferred
• Transportation: Must have available, reliable transportation to and from assignments
