You have a lot of choices for employment out there. We are glad you found your way to our website. Let us tell you a few things about Luther Manor that sets us apart from the crowd.

Flexibility

Kids. Aging parents. School. Your work schedule needs to fit your life. We get it.

We can offer a schedule that works for you.

Does parenting or a second job restrict you from a Monday-Friday schedule? Weekend shifts are available. (Includes additional compensation)

  • Float Pool Program

Do you like to learn and gain experience in different care areas? You will have the opportunity to move around and work in at least 2 clinical program areas. (Includes additional compensation)

Diversity

The backgrounds of our staff members are wide ranging. Our staff is made up of individuals of diverse race, religion, sexual orientation, and gender. Luther Manor is welcoming to all, and we take pride in our inclusive climate.

We care about your wellness. We know that healthy employees are productive employees. And that means health in all areas of life.

  • Physical? Absolutely. We offer free vaccination clinics for employees and resources to help you connect with free and low-cost health and dental clinics.
  • Emotional? Very important. We offer 6 free in-person or virtual sessions with a counselor per year. If more is needed, we will help you work with your insurance company.
  • Financial? Yup. We connect employees in need with organizations that provide guidance towards house ownership, shelter for those who are homeless, energy assistance for those struggling to pay their bills, and more.

In addition, we offer access to the following benefits.

  • CaresMart

Employees have access to a small market on campus, open every Wednesday. The market offers free or highly discounted non-perishable food and household items. During the summer months it also offers fresh produce supplied by several community gardens, including one right on Luther Manor's campus.

  • Annual Wellness Fair

Employees browse tables set up by our various community partners. Representatives from healthcare, housing, food access, and other organizations are present to answer questions and guide employees to resources.

Are you hard-working, compassionate, and responsible? Then we want you to stick around! Not only that, we want you to advance your career and grow your pay. Following are opportunities to help you do just that.

  • Professional Development Reimbursement

With approval, Luther Manor reimburses up to $2500 per year for attendance at seminars, classes, and degree programs that are relevant to your current position or intended career path.

You will also have plenty of room to grow within Luther Manor.

  • Not CBRF certified? We offer needed training in-house and at no cost to you.
  • Want to increase your training and pay as a certified medication assistant? We will help you do that. And we will pay for it, something most other long-term care communities don't.

  • Want access to training that will help you become more competent and confident in the healthcare industry? We offer free dementia training and American Heart Association Basic Life Support courses.
