Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) is a private, nonprofit community-based healthcare system serving a 22-county region in North Florida and South Georgia. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide direct resident care under RN/LPN supervision in a hospital setting, contributing to a safe and clean environment.

Required is a CNA credential and BLS certification prior to patient care. The organization may offer on-site BLS training during orientation.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required prior to performing patient care; TMH may provide on-site BLS training during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a RN or LPN, performs a variety of routine duties involving care of medically ill acute or subacute residents.
• Performs direct resident care
• Observes and reports changes in the behavior and physical status of residents
• Provides a clean and safe environment
• Performs other related duties
• Must be willing to travel to Jacksonville for 5 days to do Hyperbaric training if needed.
