Pearl Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join The Pearl of Montclare team in Illinois. New rates start at $17.25-$24.50 per hour with an additional $1.50 weekend differential for all shifts.

The CNA will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor health signs, and ensure safety and dignity while documenting care and communicating with the nursing supervisor. We offer medical benefits, vacation time, tuition reimbursement, and 401(k) options.

Qualifications

• Illinois CNA certification is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good communication are essential.
• Polish or Spanish speaking abilities are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete charge and inventory slips and monitor daily supply usage.
• Check vital signs and weight, document intake and output.
• Provide resident comfort, respond to calls, and report observations to the nursing supervisor.
• Document actions by filling out forms, logs and reports.
• Maintain privacy and HIPAA compliance.
• Follow professional standards and applicable laws.

Description:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing resident care and support in all activities of daily living and ensures the health, welfare and safety of all residents.

Responsibilities:

• Completes appropriate charge and inventory slips and monitors supply inventory daily to see what is needed; cleans instruments and equipment and returns to proper area after use
• Maintain resident stability by checking vital signs and weight, recording intake and output information.
• Provide for resident comfort by utilizing resources and materials; answering call lights and requests; reporting observations of the residents to the nursing supervisor.
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
• Protect privacy and dignity by keeping patient information confidential; comply with HIPAA guidelines and related laws.
• Adhere to professional standards, company policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local requirements, including JCAHO standards, when applicable
• Maintain a safe environment for your patient.
• Clinical Management of your patient.
