Job summary

Pearl Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in Illinois. The CNA supports residents with daily living activities and ensures safety and well-being across shifts.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, documenting care, and maintaining privacy under HIPAA guidelines while contributing to a supportive, patient-centered post-acute rehabilitation environment.

Qualifications

• Illinois CNA certification required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes charge and inventory slips; monitors supply inventory daily and cleans instruments.
• Maintain resident stability by checking vital signs and weight; record intake and output information.
• Provide resident comfort by using resources and reporting observations to the nursing supervisor.
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Protect privacy and dignity by keeping patient information confidential; comply with HIPAA.
• Adhere to professional standards, company policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local requirements, including JCAHO standards.
• Maintain a safe environment for the patient.
• Clinical management of the patient.

Description

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing resident care and support in all activities of daily living and ensures the health, welfare and safety of all residents.

Responsibilities

• Completes appropriate charge and inventory slips and monitors supply inventory daily to see what is needed; cleans instruments and equipment and returns to proper area after use
• Maintain resident stability by checking vital signs and weight, recording intake and output information.
• Provide for resident comfort by utilizing resources and materials; answering call lights and requests; reporting observations of the residents to the nursing supervisor.
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
• Protect privacy and dignity by keeping patient information confidential; comply with HIPAA guidelines and related laws.
• Adhere to professional standards, company policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local requirements, including JCAHO standards, when applicable
• Maintain a safe environment for your patient.
• Clinical Management of your patient.
