Job summary

PruittHealth Coastal Central is seeking a Transportation Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant to safely transport patients to appointments, therapies, and activities while delivering compassionate CNA support.

Responsibilities include assisting patients in entering and exiting vehicles, maintaining accurate transportation logs, and upholding infection control and safety standards in partnership with nursing and administrative teams.

Qualifications

• CPR certification or ability to obtain upon hire.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication and service skills required.

JOB PURPOSE:

As a Transportation Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant at PruittHealth Coastal Central, you will play an essential role in ensuring our patients and residents receive safe, timely, and supportive transportation to appointments, therapies, and activities. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications)

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record -Motor Vehicle Record is required as part of pre-employment.
• 1 year of experience in skilled nursing, senior living, home health, or patient transportation
• Familiarity with wheelchair lifts, securements, and mobility devices
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients safely
• Excellent communication and service skills
