Job summary

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate care in a geriatric setting. The role involves assisting residents with bathing, dressing, and activities of daily living, along with accurate documentation.

Requirements include being 18+, having a high school diploma, CNA registration in the DFS registry, and a willingness to follow orders.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) must be listed in the DFS registry.
• Willing to care for geriatric patients and have a genuine concern for their welfare.
• Willing to receive, understand, and follow orders.
• Attend in-service training and other staff meetings as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and all ADLs during shift.
• Assist with oral hygiene including denture care upon waking, after meals, at bedtime, and as needed.
• Completes patient care records at end of shift, including accurate I and O.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Assist charge nurse with resident needs and treatments as directed.
