Job summary

Liberty Healthcare Management is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for The Commons at Brightmore in Wilmington, NC. The position is full-time with evening shifts.

The CNA will assist residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and all activities of daily living, while maintaining accurate care records and communicating with the charge nurse as needed. Candidates must be 18+, hold a valid CNA certification listed in the DFS registry, and demonstrate a compassionate attitude toward geriatric

Qualifications

• Must be certified nursing assistant and listed in the DFS registry.
• Age 18+ and HS diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to care for geriatric patients and have genuine concern for their welfare.
• Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and all ADLs.
• Assist with denture care and oral hygiene.
• Complete patient care records at end of shift, including I and O.

Job Description

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, and all ADL’s as needed during shift.
• Assist with oral hygiene including denture care when getting up in the morning, after meals, at bedtime, and/or when needed.
• Completes patient care records at end of shift, including accurate I and O.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Assist charge nurse with resident needs and treatments as directed.

Job Requirements

• 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified nursing assistant, listed in the DFS registry.
• Willing to care for geriatric patients and have a genuine concern for their welfare.
• Willing to receive, understand, and follow orders.
