Valley Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Telemetry Step-Down unit at Winchester facilities. The CNA provides routine personal care under RN/LPN supervision, maintains a safe patient environment, and reports issues promptly. After experience, may precept new CNAs within the team.

The role supports Winchester Medical Center, with opportunities in a high-acuity telemetry setting and commitment to compassionate care. BLS/CPR and CNA registry adherence are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Registry as Certified Nurse Aide required; must be listed on Virginia and/or West Virginia CNA registry depending on work location.
• BLS (CPR) certification required; AHA Healthcare Provider (HCP) certification prior to orientation.

Maintains a safe environment and reports any problems. Supports the mission and vision of Winchester Rehabilitation Center and Winchester Medical Center. Once experienced, may act as a preceptor in the orientation of new CNA's. **Education** High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. **Certification & Licensures** Registry of the Board of Nursing as a Certified Nurse Aide required.Must be listed on the relevant Registry of the Board of Nursing as a Certified Nurse Aide in Virginia and/or West Virginia based on work location(s) within Valley Health. BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved required.
