Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking a Nursing Assistant to provide patient care under nursing supervision. The role supports the nursing philosophy and involves day shifts with weekend off and rotating holidays. You will assist with routine tasks, document care, and help maintain a clean patient environment.

Requirements include completion of a Nursing Assistant Course, state certification as a CNA, and CPR/BLS within 90 days. This is a part-time, on-site position in Wisconsin with competitive benefits.

• CPR or BLS certification approved within 90 days of hire.

• Provides patient care as assigned and per routine, according to standards of care, shift routines, and policies and procedures.
• Answers call lights in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Documents care provided according to standards.
• Maintains a clean work and patient environment.
• Ensures supply charge stickers are documented correctly.
• Stocks and disposes of expired or damaged supplies and equipment.
• Performs and documents TPR and BP procedures for all patients.
• Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities.
• Floats to various units based on identified patient care needs.

Schedule: 32 hours per week

Shift: Days; 8hr shifts, e/o weekend, rotating Holidays

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

PAY RANGE:

$18.65 - $28.69
