Job Summary

Provides assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, under the supervision of nursing staff.

Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience:

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
• Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS or equivalent) certification: Preferred

Essential Functions

1. Identify residents before administering treatments or services, record all entries accurately, and report any changes or incidents promptly.
2. Prepare residents' rooms, greet and assist residents, and handle personal possessions with care.
3. Perform tasks according to policies and work schedules, collaborating with other staff to ensure quality care.
4. Create a warm, positive environment, address resident complaints, and participate in team meetings.
5. Assist with applying compresses, preparing residents for examinations, measuring vital signs, and ensuring resident safety and comfort.
6. Perform other duties as assigned to support resident care and facility operations.
