Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in providing routine nursing care to residents. The CNA will perform direct patient care including bathing, feeding, grooming and assistance with toileting, while upholding Life Care standards and all regulatory requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a state-approved CNA program, and an active CNA license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with Life Care standards.
• Deliver direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.).
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
