Eastern Health Group is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care under licensed supervision. The role emphasizes compassionate care, daily resident support, and accurate documentation of vital signs and meals.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Assistant certification from state OR.
• Current/active CPR certification, preferred.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet and Intranet navigation.
• Highest level of professionalism with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct resident care duties under supervision.
• Promote compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for residents.
• Meet physical and sensory requirements and work in the described environment.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption.
• Ambulate and transfer residents with proper body mechanics.
• Prepare residents for meals and transport to dining room.
• Keep accurate records of food intake and output.
• Assist nursing staff with aseptic/sterile techniques to prevent infection.
• Assist orientation and training of other staff.
• Handle special projects as assigned.
