The Certified Nursing Assistant is specifically trained, competent, and performs assigned functions of personal care to patients in their residence under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the registered nurse (RN).

Responsibilities

• Assist guests/patients during admissions, transfers, and discharges. Check regularly to ensure personal care needs are met according to their wishes and care plan.
• Review care plans daily to identify any changes in the patient's routine or needs.

Qualifications

• Current CNA license and certification prior to hiring.
• Valid CPR and fingerprint clearance card.
• Minimum of six (6) months CNA/LNA experience preferred.
• Experience in Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing Facility, or Transitional Rehab preferred.
