STGi is seeking a Part Time Evening Shift Certified Nursing Assistant to provide services to our Georgia War Veterans Home.

Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides routine daily nursing care and services to residents according to their assessment and care plan, under supervision.

Essential Functions:

  • Record entries on flow sheets, notes, and charts accurately.
  • Report changes in resident condition promptly.
  • Weigh residents as per care plan.
  • Report significant weight changes.
  • Measure and document vital signs and food intake.
  • Maintain residents’ water supplies.
  • Prepare residents for meals and assist with feeding as needed.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Contribute to care plan interventions and monitor responses.
  • Support residents with mental health and trauma-related needs.
  • Assist with exams, tests, and transportation to appointments.
  • Help with bowel and bladder functions.
  • Support residents in social and activity participation.
  • Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
  • Change bed linens and monitor skin integrity.
  • Collect specimens and maintain records.
  • Observe and report skin breakdowns and injuries.
  • Participate in shift reports and perform restorative procedures.
  • Provide non-pharmacological pain management and ROM exercises.
  • Assist with eye and ear care.
  • Greet residents and assist with admission, transfer, and discharge.
Required Experience:
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to assess and react to patient conditions.
  • Knowledge of customer service techniques for aged populations.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology, Microsoft Office, and EMRs.
  • Attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.
  • Completion of approved CNA training and competency evaluation.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensed CNA in Georgia.
