Job summary

Indianapolis Rehabilitation Hospital is hiring a nursing assistant to support daily patient care in a clinical setting. You will assist with activities of daily living, provide personal care, and offer emotional support under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel.

The role requires completing a nursing assistant course and a BLS certification. Prior experience is welcomed but not required, with opportunities for training and professional growth within a supportive team environment.

Position Summary:

Assists professional nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned area. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, emotional support and performs more complex clinical skills under the direction of professional nursing personnel.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of course for nursing assistants.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.
